Track Record of Achievements

Mission Connexion began in 2001 with a vision to see thousands of Christians mobilized to take the gospel to
the nations.

Through our annual Mission Connexion event in Portland, we have seen more than
• 1000 churches participating
• 100,000 attendees
• 25,000 trained
• Replicated events in Seattle since 2002, Alaska since 2006 and Spokane since 2010
• 200 mission agencies recruiting hundreds of short term and many long term missionaries who have
been called to missions at one of our events.
• A powerful and effective model of how to engage the church, recruit missionaries and mobilize the
church.

Our goal: increasing numbers of believers actively serving in areas of the world's greatest need and
opportunity. To achieve this goal we must:
1. Continue our 2-day Portland Mission Connexion Conference including: 125 Workshops; 80 Exhibits; 4
Plenary Sessions.

2. Continue existing locally volunteer led Mission ConneXion Events in Alaska and Spokane, Washington.

3. Set up church based mission mobilization events and networks in key U.S. cities.

4. Replicate the Volunteer based Mission Connexion event model in key cities every year.

5. Leverage our resources by providing Mission training and workshops online to make them accessible
nationwide.

6. Partner with churches and mission agencies to strengthen mission leaders (Leadership Connexion) in the
local church and provide better care for missionaries (Care Connexion) so they are effectively mobilized.

7. Develop additional "ConneXion" events that strengthen and mobilize the church in missions such as
pastors' gatherings, mission agency mobilization strategies and the development of on-line resources to
serve churches and those seeking opportunities.
