Working together through an effort like Mission ConneXion Northwest offers the possibility of inspiring and mobilizing our people for missions in much greater ways than any of us could do on our own.
Mission ConneXion Northwest is MORE than a two day event. It is an Opportunity for Unity in the Church:
The Church works as ONE throughout the year
The Church comes together as ONE for one weekend
The Christian ethnic communities worship together as ONE for one weekend
The prayers of the Church are focused on the mission field, in the community and abroad
The Church remembers and prays for the Persecuted Church - The Christian community is informed about the state of Christianity in the world today
The Christian community rekindles its passion for and commitment to mission, locally or overseas
The Christians are challenged to get involved personally
The Youth are introduced to mission in a way that will change their lives
The Christian business community is challenged to get involved in mission through business
The Pastors renew their vision for mission
The congregations are encouraged to create a mission committee in their church
The congregations are given information as to how to get involved in mission
The Christian community has access to the best books on mission
The Christian community has access to many missionaries
The Christian community has access to the best international speakers
Additional Church Partner Benefits
While Mission ConneXion Northwest events are open to all churches, there are some specific additional benefits to those churches that commit to being Church Partners:
Church Partners are invited to shape the direction of Mission ConneXion Northwest by:
Serving on or providing input to the Steering Team
Volunteering and serving at events.
Nominating and voting for members of the Board of Directors.
Opportunities to network with other mission-minded church leaders and agencies.
Church Partners are recognized in Mission ConneXion Northwest publications and website.
Church Partners have the privilege of making certain financially and otherwise that Mission ConneXion Northwest is available to all who want to attend
Church Partner Responsibilities
Provide a church representative to serve as a contact person for the Missions Fest Northwest Steering Team.
Advertise and promote the Mission ConneXion weekend, and set aside the weekend so their people can attend
Contribute an annual donation to Mission ConneXion Northwest (suggested donation of $2 per church member).
