An Evening with Randy Alcorn and George Verwer

(Portland, OR) Two of Christianity's most active and respected communicators – Randy Alcorn and George Verwer – will appear together at Sunset Presbyterian Church in Beaverton on Thursday, May 30 at 7:30 PM. The event is free and open to the public.

"An Evening with Randy Alcorn and George Verwer" will also include music from international recording artist and worship leader Bill Drake. The presentation will focus on the "Treasure Principle" of joyful giving and service based on Alcorn's best-selling book.

Randy Alcorn has written more than forty books with more than seven million in print in thirty languages. He is the founder and director of Eternal Perspective Ministries (EPM) which focuses on communicating the importance of using time, money, possessions and opportunities to invest in need-meeting ministries that count for eternity.

George Verwer is the founder of Operation Mobilization (OM), an international ministry of evangelism, discipleship training and church planting that reaches across the world through their ship Logos Hope and more than 6100 people working in over 110 countries. After starting OM in 1961, Verwer served as International Director for more than 40 years and is now involved with OM's Special Projects Ministries.

The event is a collaborative presentation of Operation Mobilization USA, Heritage Society, Mission ConneXion and Eternal Perspective Ministries.

A pre-event dinner at 5:30PM will be hosted for supporters of the sponsoring organizations for a special time with Randy Alcorn, George Verwer and Dale Rhoton.
